Who operates the app
Kinetic Index is operated by Thunk Solutions Inc. Contact brett@thinkthunk.io about your information, corrections, access requests, or deletion.
Information used to provide the service
Your account stores your email, display name, password hash, preferences, verification state, fitness test results, and the dates you enter. Referral information, custom tests, and challenge memberships are stored when you use those features. This information powers sign-in, your history, scoring, sharing, and support.
Your sharing choices
Your profile starts private. If you enable a public profile, anyone with its link can view the information shown on that page and may copy it. Joining a challenge separately shares your display name and comparable score progress with its participants. You can turn off the public profile or leave a challenge to stop future access through the app. This does not remove copies already made by others.
Payments, email and hosting
Stripe handles checkout, billing, and payment details. The app stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and status; it does not receive your full card number. Resend handles verification, recovery, and support notification emails. Vercel hosts the app and provides traffic analytics; the application database stores your account and results. These providers process information needed to deliver their services.
Cookies, analytics and support
Session cookies keep you signed in and protect sign-in requests. The offline feature saves only public icons and a neutral offline page. Analytics events omit account, authentication, and shared-profile routes and remove URL options. Feedback includes your account details, description, and a filtered page address. Do not include passwords, payment details, or sensitive health information in a report.
Security records and retention
Authentication records can include your email, network address, browser description, event type, and timestamp. The app attempts to remove authentication records older than 90 days, rate-limit counters older than 24 hours, and expired recovery tokens during active service traffic. Cleanup can be delayed by inactivity or an outage. Your test history remains until you delete your account.
Access and deletion
Account settings provide sign-out for all devices and permanent account deletion. Cancel recurring billing and close pending checkouts before deletion. Deleting an account removes its app profile, results, custom tests, and challenges it created. Payment-provider records, support correspondence, hosting logs, and backup copies have separate retention. Contact support for an access request or help with those records; a paid plan is not required to request access to your personal information.
